Sereta Dalton Goad , 91, of Dugspur, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab. Mrs. Goad was born in Virginia to the late Jesse Lee and Rosie Largen Dalton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Friel Goad.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Paul Shockley and Emma and Chad Porter all of Dugspur; grandchildren, Evin Porter and Kade Porter; and brother Alvin Elwood Dalton of Dugspur.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:30 PM. Burial will follow in the Nester Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:30 until 2:30 prior to the funeral service. Chapel is serving the family.
