Sarah Ruth Beverly, 89 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Northern Regional Hospital. Mrs. Beverly was born in West Virginia on November 15. 1931 to the late Robert Earl and Etta Naomi Worrell Rutherford. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Beverly.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen Olesky and Amy Beverly-Walker (Steve); four grandchildren, Nicole Morris, Ryan Olesky (Tara), Nathan Walker (Laura), and Marcus Walker (Mary); and six great-grandchildren, Josephine Morris, Caroline Morris, McKenzie Olesky, Ben Walker, Lilly Walker, and Maddy Walker.

A graveside service with burial will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Monta Vista Memory Gardens at 4:00 PM with Pastor Ty Harrison officiating. The family will receive friends at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
