Sandra Kaye Plummer, 59, of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Mrs. Plummer was born in Galax to the late William James Luper, Jr. and Mary Myrl Davis Luper. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, James Clayton Luper. Survivors include her husband, Jackie Plummer of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Zackary Goad of Hillsville; and two grandchildren, Destiny Owens and Zackaria Goad. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jason Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow in Dalton Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
