Sadie "Lois" Hundley, 85, of Hillsville passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Highland Ridge in Dublin, Virginia. Mrs. Hundley was born on January 6, 1927 to the late Harden and Juda Dalton Lineberry. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Cecil Arthur Hundley; infant son Eugene Hundley; and siblings Delphia Rotenizer, Josie Newman, William Lineberry, Arlan Lineberry, and Leo Lineberry. Mrs. Hundley is survived by her children and their spouses Cecil Paul and Gay Hundley of Hillsville, Rebecca and Tim Woodyard of Dublin, Theresa McDonald of Hillsville, and Judy and Tosh Groce of Taylors, SC; brother and sister-in-law Dan and Ramona Lineberry of Martinsville; sisters and brothers-in-law Velda and Doris Myers of Ridgeway, Joyce Surratt of Austinville, Dorothy Horton of Hillsville, and Lou and Rufus Alexander of Collinsville; sister-in-law Louise Lineberry of Collinsville; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Coulson Church of the Brethren with Pastor Russell Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Coulson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
