Ruth York, 74, of Hillsville, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Beverly Health Care Blue Ridge. Mrs. York is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law Bobby & Jennifer York of Cana and Charles & Cynthia York of Cana; daughter & son-in-law Angie & Philip Hill of Hillsville; sisters & brothers-in-law Lois & Earl Howlett of Hillsville and Obedia & Cleaman Newman of Hillsville; ten grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Wendell Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Sky View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday night at the funeral home.
