Ruth O. Farmer, 97, of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Trinity Mission of Hillsville. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward and Beulah Caudill Owens. Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Montgomery of Hillsville; granddaughter and spouse, Michelle and Steve Martin; three great granddaughters, Lindsay Martin, Cassie Martin, and Sami Martin. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Maria Grimm officiating. Burial will follow at Monta Vista Memory Gardens in Galax, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 one hour prior to the funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
