Ruth Stoneman Bunn, 85 of Hillsville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 28, 2010. Mrs. Bunn was born in Carroll County to the late Arthur Roscoe and Lennie Ann Edwards Stoneman. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Ruben W. Bunn; daughter and son-in-law Linda Sue and Virgil Burcham; and brothers Guy Stoneman and Barney Stoneman. She is survived by her children and spouses Ann B. and Paul Davis of Aiken, SC, Jean B. Anderson of Hillsville, Thomas Ruben Bunn of Fancy Gap, and Kay B. and Duane Carter of Dugspur; sister and brother-in-law Ethel S. and Clyde Easter of Fancy Gap; sisters-in-law Arlene Stoneman and Sally Stoneman; grandchildren Paul Davis, III, Michelle Brown, Christopher Bunn, Adam Davis, Sherry Martin, Melissa Chappell, Stephanie Bunn and Dustin Carter; two great grandchildren Scarlet Martin and Aiden Davis; special caregiver Tracy Burns and Jacob; and many special friends at Wheatland and Briarleigh .

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wendell Horton and Associate Pastor David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb-Skyview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
