Ruth N. Bobbitt, 77 of Woodlawn, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Mrs. Bobbitt was born in West Virginia to the late Robert and Stacey Sutton Naillon. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Bobbitt; and siblings, Eddie Naillon, Sam Naillon, Nancy Hardy, and Kate Carroll.

Ruth was a loving mother and grandmother. She had 26 years of service with Carroll County School System as a bus driver and loved to fish, garden and cook.

Survivors include her son, James Edwards and wife, Debbie of Woodlawn; two grandchildren, Zachary Edwards and wife, Alisha and Anna Edwards; four great-grandchildren, Tucker Hicks, Jordyn Hicks, Chet Edwards, and Hallie Edwards; siblings, Ben Naillon, Milburn Naillon, Sue Pinter, and Edna Cummings; and special nephews, Anthony Vancleave and John Hardy.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
