Russell H. Utterback, 69 of Hillsville, passed Away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Utterback was born in Warrenton, Virginia to the late William Marshall and Ella Mae Cowne Utterback. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by several brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Kay Utterback of the home; children and spouses, Rene H. and Terry Fearnley of Nokesville, VA, Russell Hugh Utterback, Jr. and Crissy of Remmington, VA, Lindsey K. Utterback of Warrenton, Virginia, and Kimberly and Larry Riggins of Wytheville, VA; sisters, Janet Grey of Warrenton, VA and Barbara Joan Utterback of Washington, DC; seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Fairview Presbyterian Church with Pastor Ben Behrendt officiating. Burial will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the Catlett Methodist Cemetery in Catlett, VA. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the MS Society. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
