Russell Edgar Nelson, 75, of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Ila Gardner Nelson. Survivors include his wife, Charlene Nelson, of the home, daughter, Angie Reece, Dublin, son, Ricky Nelson, Woodlawn, sisters, Vernie Largen, Hillsville, Nancy King, Collinsville, brothers & sister-in-law, Maynard Nelson, Salem, Jimmy & Barbara Nelson, Collinsville, grandchildren & spouse, Justin & Jessica Reece, Pulaski, Travis Reece, Radford, Garrett Nelson, Woodlawn, Ruston Nelson, Woodlawn,, great grandchildren, Hailey Reece, Gavin Reece, several nieces & nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel wit Pastor David Bays officiating. Burial will follow in the Nelson Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers a donations may be made to your favorite charity. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Nelson family.
