Rush Jackson McMillian, 71 of Hillsville, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. McMillian is survived by his wife Thursa McMillian of the home, daughters Roma Jean Stevens of Hillsville and Linda Dianne McMillian of Granite Falls, NC; son William Christopher McMillian of Mocksville, NC; brothers Marvin McMillian of Hillsville and Glen Eugene Bradley of NC; sisters Ila Virginia Varner of Fisherville, VA and Carrie Bell Dalton of Pulaski; three grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 9, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Norman Goad, Rev. Ray Eichler, and Mr. Ernest Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Memory Gardens with Military Rites being conducted at the graveside by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday night at the funeral home.
