Rubye H. Marshall, 81, of Dugspur, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Winston Salem. Mrs. Marshall was born in Dugspur, Virginia to the late Waymon and Alma Beasley Horton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Edward Rush Horton and Bill Horton. Survivors include her husband, L. Maynard Marshall of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Zane and Sandra Marshall of Fancy Gap and Joe and Marina Marshall of Wytheville; sister, Geraldine Alderman of Dugspur; grandchildren and spouses, Travis and Tonya Marshall, Melissa and Rob Pack, Aaron and Shay Marshall, Kayla and Matthew Beamer, Adam and Sheena Marshall, and Tanner Marshall; six great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Hazel Horton and Catherine Horton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 7:00 PM with Pastor Robert Smith officiating.
