Ruby Faye Robertson, 76, of Cana, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Robertson was born in Carroll County to the late Doll and Della Edwards Tate. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Allen Clyde Robertson and several brothers. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jesse Crotts, Judy and Hobert Hawks, and Carol and Johnny Vaughn all of Cana; sister, Irene Burcham of Cana; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Mount Airy First Pentecostal Holiness Church 132 Chadwick Lane at 2:00 PM with Rev. Russell Vass and Rev. Brian Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandy Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family at 99 Abell Road, Cana, VA 24317 for expenses. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
