Ruby Janice Neitzke, 87 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center surrounded by family. Mrs. Neitzke was born in Hillsville, Virginia to the late George Fulton and Esther Combs Hill. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by siblings Odell Hill, Reva Horton, and Curtis Hill.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Neitzke; daughter, Susan Neitzke Hall (Robert); son, Steven Neitzke (Paul); siblings, Allan Hill, Virgil Hill, Norene Pilkins, and Jerry Hill; and grandchildren, Lauren, Evan, Kaden, and Alstun.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Medi Hospice, Waddell Nursing Home, Stephanie Bunn, and Sarah Tucker.

A memorial service will be held at Sky View Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Wendell Horton officiating.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
