Roy Lane Marshall, 84 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lavina Myers Marshall; siblings, Bernard Marshall, Brenda Armstrong and Iva Beasley.

Roy was a member of the Hillsville Masonic Lodge and the Good Old Boys Club.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Caudill Marshall; siblings and spouses, Olen Marshall, Eldon and Dana Marshall, and India and Craig Teller. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
