Roxanne Bowers

Roxanne Elaine Barr Bowers, 67 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026. Roxanne was born in Carroll County, Virginia on March 22, 1959 to Carmie Delano and Annie Ruth “Tootsie” Thompson Barr. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jeff Barr and Michael Barr.

Survivors include her husband, Carol “Dean” Bowers; daughter, Nikki Bowers; sons, Michael “Pudge” Bowers and Cody Bowers; grandchildren, Jordan Manns, Aaralyn Manns, and Timbre Bowers; and step-grandchildren, Jaelyn Hodges, Ander Hodges, and Yogi Crouse.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at White Chapel Farm and Venue from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
