**Funeral Service Update**

Roxana Marie Kamoda age 57 of Hillsville, Virginia went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 30, 2025. Roxana was born on June 3,1967 in Carroll County, Virginia to Mildred and Richard Marshall. She was the eldest sister of Rhonda Marshall and Ramona Shank, loving wife to David Kamoda, and the proudest parent of Lauren, Colin, and Jonathan Kamoda.

In addition to all of these things she was a huge daddy's girl and loved to reminisce on fishing trips and growing up in the country surrounded by her family. She was an amazing cook; she loved to experiment with new dishes and made the best deviled eggs in the county. She enjoyed sitting in her flower garden and watching the birds. Roxana was an open hearted woman who was a loving and guiding light to all those she met. Roxana was especially proud in her work as a nutrition agent for the Virginia extension department where she taught nutrition to the schools all over Carroll County.

The family requests that visitation is limited and no food be brought to the home, in lieu of food or grocery donations please make a donation to Isaac Banks Cemetery fund or local food bank. The family also requests that if you or anyone close to you has been sick to please be considerate of their loved ones and your own and attend in spirit.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 1:00PM to 2:00 PM. A guestbook is available on-line by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com.
