Rose Marie Cox, 84, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Fort Lauderdale Health and Rehab. Mrs. Cox was born in Spartanburg, SC to the late Hampton and Grace Payne Allen. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roland Junior Cox. Mrs. Cox is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laura Jean and Wade Gullett of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jason Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Cemetery in Laurel Fork, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
