Ronnie Luther Kennedy, 81, of Fancy Gap VA, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Hillsville Health and Rehab located in Hillsville VA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Maxine Kennedy. Also, he was preceded in death by his father, Luther Harrison Kennedy, mother, Kate Jones Kennedy and brothers, Jimmy Kennedy and Steve Kennedy.

Survivors include son, Michael Brent Kennedy of Pfafftown NC; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Pam Kennedy of Hillsville VA; sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Bob Segers of Trinity NC; sister and brother-in-law, Sonya N. Kennedy and Tom Cleman of Flagstaff AZ; and seven grandchildren, Michael Kennedy, Brandi Vass, Megan Ring, Emma Kennedy, Rachel Reavis, Mattie Kennedy and Abigail Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy also had four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild as well.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Sky View Baptist Church located in Fancy Gap VA with Pastor Gary Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Sky View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sky View Baptist Church. Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
