Ronnie Lee Horton, 72 of Hillsville passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Eva Horton.

Survivors include his wife, Goldie Horton of the home; sons and daughters-in-laws, Dean and Sylvia Horton of Hillsville, Dustin and Kathleen Horton of Wirtz, VA, and Doug and Jeri Horton of Cana; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Linda Horton of Hillsville; thirteen grandchildren, Cody, Kelly, Cayla, Lily, Stone, Anna, Brooklyn, Jonathan, Joseph, Jill, Jared, Jacob, and Jaxon; one great grandchild, Cecilia.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Chris Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Independence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Horton family.
