Ronald Dean Webb, 72, better known as "Ronnie", of Fancy Gap, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Ronnie was born in Carroll County, VA, on February 25, 1950. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Ronnie was a retired truck driver known as "Cherokee" by his trucking friends. He was always a dog lover and found much comfort in his loyal buddy Sunshine. Ronnie had a big heart and was kind to anyone who crossed his path.

Among many who will cherish his memory are he wife, Brenda; a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Melanie Webb; a son and daughter-in-law, Kendall and Laura Webb; a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and JC Banks; grandchildren, Ethan Webb and wife, Brooke, Averi Beamer and husband, Trevor, Kayleigh Johnson and husband, Forrest, John Banks, Joseph Webb, and Grayson Webb; great-grandchildren, Kyler Jase Johnson and Emmie Layne Beamer; a sister, Joyce Burnette; and many nieces and nephews.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jean Gammons; a sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and James Hiatt; a brother-in-law, Bill Burnette; a niece, Melissa Nester; and a great-granddaughter, Ellie Grace Beamer.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice in Dobson, NC. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice, and all the people who cared for his when he was home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bobby Webb and Pastor Wendell Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Plains Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
