Ronald A. Theurer, 67 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Theurer was born in New York to the late Arthur & Blanche Theurer. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death two brothers Arthur Theurer and Harold Theurer and one sister Marilyn Theurer. He is survived by his wife Amy Virginia Theurer of the home; sons & daughters-in-law Christopher H. & Laurie Theurer of Archdale, NC and Ronald A. & Elizabeth Theurer of West Hempstead, NY; daughters & sons-in-law Ann & Mitchell Abrams of Oklawaha, FL and Deborah & Thomas Borelli of Brooklyn, NY; brother & sister-in-law James & Vivian Theurer of Staten, NY; and six grandchildren Jennifer Borelli, Thomas Borelli, Anthony Borelli, Michael Caughey, Samantha Abrams, and Andrew Elks.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at St. Josephs Catholic Church at 1:00 PM with Father Charles Brickner officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the St. Josephs Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests doing acts of kindness for someone.
