Ronald Edward Marshall, age 68, and Hazel Bishop Martin Marshall, age 92, son and mother, both of Dugspur, Virginia, passed on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Ronald was born in Montgomery County to Carson and Hazel Martin Marshall on March 5, 1956.  He passed away at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center a few hours before his mother. Hazel was born in Floyd County to Raymond and Loma Spence Martin on October 13, 1932.  She passed away at Skyline Nursing and Rehab in Floyd. Those who preceded them in death were husband of Hazel and father of Ronald, Carson Marshall; and siblings of Hazel, Sadie Radford and Joyce Duncan.

Surviving family includes Hazel's siblings, Judy Martin and Owen Martin; many nieces and nephews and several of Ronald's cousins, as well as numerous special friends.

A memorial service will be held for both Ronald and Hazel at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Warren Baumgardner officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the memorial service.  A private inurnment will be held in the Marshall Cemetery in Dugspur at a later date. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Marshall family.
