Ronald "Chris" Gentry

Ronald “Chris” Gentry, 56 of Dobson, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Gentry was born in Dobson on August 15, 1969. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy “Eugene” Gentry and Peggy “Sue” Gentry.

Survivors include his uncle, Ray “Olan” Gentry; wife, Rhonda Gentry; sons, Ricky Gentry, Holden Gentry, and Cruz Lineberry (Jessica); daughters, Natasha Carranza (Brandon Gravely), Kenya Robertson (Jeremiah), and Santana Riggins (E.J.); sister, Vanessa Gentry Kimmer (Jonathan); grandchildren, Khloey, Gracey, Hunter, Ryder, Shaune, Harleigh, Ryleigh, Ted, Huck, Leigha, Kayleigh, Cami, Logan and Ethan; great-grandchild, Colton; dad and stepmom, Phillip and Joan Money; sisters, Katy Money and Emily White (Clent); and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Monday, July 27, 2026 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
