Roger Jessup (Nelson) Hiatt 56 of Cana, VA passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Galax Health and Rehab. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny Jessup and Janice Gwyn Hiatt; brother, Jr. Ray Hiatt.

Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Hiatt of the home; children and spouse, Harley Hiatt and Roger and Brenda Hiatt; siblings, Shirley Ayers and James Hiatt; four grandchildren, Samantha Ann Hargis, Skyler Owen Hiatt, Brooklyn Shay Hiatt, and Daisy Mae Hiatt.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Timothy Crotts officiating. Burial will follow in the Bear Trail Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
