Roger Lee Martin, 76 of Austinville, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at his home.  Mr. Martin was born in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Ralph Jefferson and Ethel Virginia Fleming Martin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Benoy.

Roger loved spending time with his family.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Hillsville Masonic Lodge 193 A.F. & A.M.  He was a pipe fitter for about 50 years.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Martin; daughters, Yvette Martin and Michele Salyer and her husband, Johnny; sons, Tony Martin and wife, Dreama and Mike Martin and wife, Faye; sister, Kay Martin; brother, Bob Martin and wife, Margaret; grandchildren, Shane Martin, Savannah Early and husband, Matt, Brianna Salyer, Adrianna Salyer and fiancé, Seth Holderfield, Hayley Martin, and Josh Martin and fiancé, Gracie Barker; special relatives, Brandi Reynolds and husband, Robbie Reynolds and their children, Chase, Rayne and Bailey Reynolds; and special friends, Ricky Myers and Debbie Sutphin and James and Shirley Orange.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Garry Allen officiating.  Burial will follow in the Martin Fowler Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
