Robert Mawyer Worrell, Jr., 58 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg. Mr. Worrell was born in Carroll County to the late Robert M. Worrell, Sr. and Ella Catherine Saferight Worrell.

Survivors include his sister, Mary Dalton of Amelia; brother, John (Pat) Worrell of Blacksburg; nieces, Kristi (John) Norton of Richmond and Candace Dalton (Bryan Eason) of Norcross, GA; nephew, AJ (Emily) Worrell of Salem; three great-nephews, Holden, Charlie, and Clark; his family at Jeff Johnson Chevrolet; and many cousins and special friends.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the John P. Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
