Robert Alan Riffey, 57 of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at his home.  Mr. Riffey was born in Washington DC on July 13, 1966.  He was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Lee Riffey; and step-fathers, Robert Henry Harrison and Buford Edwards.

Survivors include his mother, Jeanne Robinson Riffey Harrison Edwards; son, Nicholas Riffey (Jessica); brother, Samuel Riffey (Racheal); grandson, Cooper Riffey; granddaughters, Lucy and Harper Schoolcraft and Lexi and Tracy Gunnell; great-granddaughter, Lakelynn; nieces, Samantha and Ahliyah Riffey; nephews, Lee Riffey (Kimberly) and Joseph Semones; special sis, Pat Wilcox (John) and family; and several cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating.  Burial will follow in the James Robinson Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
