Robert Lee Pee Wee Phillips, 55, of Grundy, formerly of Hillsville, passed away May 18, 2011 in Grundy, VA. He was born April 21, 1956 to the late Roy Lee and Nannie Asbury Phillips. Survivors include daughter Amanda Phillips of Bastian, VA; three sisters & brothers-in-law Alice & Allen Kohl of Stafford, VA, Loretta Byrd of Pocohontas, VA, and Carolyn & Tommy Briggs of Hillsville; two brothers & sister-in-law Ronnie & Norine Phillips and Rickey Phillips of Galax; three grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Hutzel and Mr. Robert Howell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
