Robert Horace Lane, 77 of Hillsville, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Lane is survived by his daughters Jan Conway Lane, Patricia Adele Lane, and Robin Faye Lane all of Hillsville; sisters Martha Helton of Linville, GA, Jean Gray, Florence Braden, and Marjorie Trammell all of Rome, GA; brother John Lane of Atlanta, GA; and grandchildren Chloe Lane Reavis and Fiona Katelyn Lane-Sweeney. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at Hillsville Presbyterian Church at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Ray Eichler will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the Branscome Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 at the church prior to the memorial service.
