Robert James Henley, 75 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows.  Mr. Henley was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late James and Millie Stilwell Henley.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Esther Rigney Henley; and brother, Bill Henley.

Survivors include his daughters, Lesia Henley and Claudine Henley; four grandsons, Shawn Henley, Anthony Henley, Justin Hudson and wife, Michelle, and Zachary Crowder and family; siblings, Donald Henley, Dorothy Smith and husband, Tiny, Juanita Goad and husband, Demsey, Lois Peterman, Linda Nichols, Paul Henley and wife, Dale, and Freddy Henley and wife, Helen; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Dry Pond Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Pastor Danny Medford officiating.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
