Robert Gill, 74 of Hillsville, died suddenly in his sleep on September 6, 2007 and has gone home to be with the Lord. Mr. Gill is survived by his wife Catherine B. Gill of the home; children & spouses Pamela & Mark Wigley of Baltimore, MD, Vandy & Randy Colley of Illinois, Robert & Laura Gill of Hillsville, Jeffrey & Jean Gill of Coudersport, PA, and Dona & James Garrison of Baltimore, MD; sisters & brother-in-law Beatrice Dinges of Baltimore, MD and Marjorie & Bob Penrod of Hillsville; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Calvary Bible Church in Dugspur on Monday, September 10, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Edward Lanning officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Sunday September 9, 2007 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary Bible Church.
