Robert Earl Gallimore , 70 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Avante at Roanoke. Mr. Gallimore was born in Dugspur, VA to the late Glenn D. and Tina Phillips Gallimore.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Dalton Gallimore of the home; son, Robert Shane Gallimore of Hillsville; stepchildren, Amanda Lee Worrell and Ricky, Mike, Dawn, Keith and Carol; several grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, William Dean "Bill" and Linda Gallimore and David Wayne Gallimore, all of Hillsville; sisters and brother-in-law, Sandra and LD McGrady of Hillsville and Betty G. Quesenberry of Dugspur; sister-in-law and spouse, Brenda and Eugene Huff of Hillsville; brother-in-law and spouse, Dean and Ruby Dalton of Elliston; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special great niece, Ann Gallimore Howard; and special friends, JD McPeak and Tommy Rudder.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardner Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
