Robert Ira Fuller, 85, of Hillsville went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2024.  He was born on May 14, 1939 in Carroll County, VA to the late Ira James and Agnes Mae Howlett Fuller.

He was devoted to his family and his Lord and was always happy to let others know how much the Lord Jesus Christ had made a difference in his life.  He was a faithful member of Landmark Baptist Church since its foundation in 1986.  Over many of these years, he served as trustee, usher, and choir member as long as his health allowed.

Robert served a term in the U.S. Air Force where he worked in Instrument Landing Systems.  After returning from service, he worked in many different types of jobs from construction to industrial maintenance over the years, but his real joy was in farming and raising cattle.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Evelyn Hall Fuller of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Autumn Fuller; one grandson, Grady Fuller; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Jean Holcomb.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ronnie Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  A guestbook is available online by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
