Robert Bryan Feild, Jr., of Columbus, Ohio was born October 4, 1926, and went to be with his Lord and Savior July 15, 2012, at the age of 85. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Amy Pauline Nester Feild, his parents Robert Bryan Feild and Monte Crowley Feild, and sister Frances Feild Anderson. He is survived by his nephews, Robert Nelson Anderson, John Rogers Anderson, and Bruce Feild Anderson, niece Susan Campbell Anderson, and Cousin Jason Feild, along with friend and companion Nora Jean Maxwell and his Church Family, including his caretakers Dudley and Shirley Kindrick. Robert obtained degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia and in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland. He retired from the Ashland Chemical Company. Robert was a member of the NW Civitans of Upper Arlington for 37 years. He was also a member of Neil Avenue Baptist Church for 41 years, serving as a Sunday School Teacher, Treasurer, Deacon and Elder of the Church. He had a passion for reaching out to those in need and the unsaved. Robert will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Our loss is Heaven's gain. A graveside service with burial following will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Nester Family Cemetery in Laurel Fork, Virginia where he will be laid to rest beside his wife. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Mark Hackler. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
