Robert (Bobby) Cox, 61 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Galax. Mr. Cox was born in Louisville, KY on January 9, 1953. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Russell Cox and his wife, Barbara Cox, sister Rosie Keys. Survivors include his father, Robert Cox of Geismar, LA; and sisters, Frances Keyes of Cana, Betty Mathis of Adel, GA and Carol Ange of Ocala FL. A graveside service with burial following will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Willis Cemetery at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Dalton officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 11:00 until 12:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
