Robert Jeff Bolen, 83 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mr. Bolen was born in Virginia to the late Arby Jeff and Ellie Woods Bolen. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Bolen; sisters, Linda Sharp, Arlene Bowman, Earlene Isom, and Naydene Woodell; and brothers, Garland Bolen, William James Bolen, Clarence Durrell Bolen, and Jess Arlen Bolen.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Steven Bolen of Hillsville and Rickey and Lori Bolen of Galax; grandchildren and spouses, Justin Bolen, Dr. Ashley and Zachary Langford, and Chad and Brandy Bolen; and great grandson, Cason Bolen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ray Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Memory Gardens. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 12:00 until 1:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
