Robert Daniel (BABE) Earl, 66 of Fancy Gap, Virginia passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas R. Gowan and Lillie Stiller Carpenter; brothers, Hilton Joseph (Peewee) Earl, Jr., and Joseph L. (Mike) Earl.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Earl.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Bluemont Presbyterian Church with Pastor Scotty Bullins officiating. Burial will follow in Bluemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Bluemont Presbyterian Church from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Military Rites will be conducted by Hillsville Grover King Post 1115. Deven Haynes, Michael Haynes, Shane Haynes, Leslie Shelton, Andrew Shelton, Timmy Baskett, Earl Baskett, and Ian Isom will be serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice or to the American Lung Association.   Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Earl family.
