Rita Dawn Reeves, 58 of Galax, Virginia passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bernice Reeves; siblings, Bonnie Profitt, Betty Miller, Glenda Tibbs, and Ronald Reeves.

She is survived by her husband, Helmut Inestroza; daughter and son-in-law, India and Adam Smith; grandchild, Cayden I. Reeves; siblings, Elizabeth Funk (Randy), Julie McKinney (Tom), Opal Talbert (Sam), Tara Porter (Alvin), Doris Chandler, and Robert Sharp (Ann); nieces and nephews, Shaina Roten, Heather Montgomery, Christopher Funk, Levi McKinney, and several others; special friends, Katie, Crystal, Lana, and Greta.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Dalton Hill Cemetery.
