Rita Nina Dalton Nester, 72 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Golden Living Center-Blue Ridge. She was the daughter of the late Norman Troy and Velma Hurst Dalton and the wife of the late Avery Redell Nester. She is survived by her daughter Janet Nester Burnett of Hillsville; grandson & spouse Christopher & Shelli Burnett; granddaughter & spouse Jennifer & Travis Coe; brother & spouse Leonard & Carolyn Dalton; great grandchildren Carl Avery Coe, Ashton Nathaniel Coe, and William Lee Burnett; and son-in-law Nathan Burnett.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Burial will follow in the Branscome Cemetery in Dugspur. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
