Rigoberto nació en Galax, Virginia, sus padres Rigoberto "Sr" Lemus Guzman y Maria Lemus Guzman. Además de sus padres, le sobreviven sus hermanos, Heribeto Lemus y Luis Fernando Lemus.

Rigoberto "Jr" Lemus Guzman, 22 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Rigoberto was born in Galax, Virginia to Rigoberto "Sr" Lemus Guzman and Maria Lemus Guzman. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his brothers, Heribeto Lemus and Luis Fernando Lemus.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 6:00 PM with Father David Ssentamu officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 until 6:00 PM prior to the mass. Burial will follow in Mexico at a later date.
