Richard Albert Jackson, 74 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Jackson worked for Eastern Airlines for 28 years. He served in the Navy and was a Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Jackson was a member of the Reeders Pennsylvania United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife Frances Jackson of the home; daughters & sons-in-law Deborah Allred of Melbourne Beach, FL, Sharon & Ed Sassano of Bethlehem, GA, Donna & Scott West of Dayton, OH; brother & sister-in-law Barry & Barbara Jackson of Port Orange, FL; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will held on Sunday, April 22, 2007 at the Bethlehem First United Methodist Church in Bethlehem, GA at 2:00 PM with Rev. John Cotton officiating. Entombment will follow in the Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday at the church one hour prior to the funeral services.
