Rex Jack Branscome, 76, passed away on February 27, 2009 in Galax. He was the son of Glendi and the late Sadie Branscome. Mr. Branscome is survived by his wife Imogene Branscome; father Glendi Branscome; brothers and sister-in-law Donnie & Barbara Branscome of Dublin, Roger & Joan Branscome of Porthill, ID; sister and brother-in-law Betty Marie & Kenneth Gardner of Hillsville; special friends Jacob & Eric Semones; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Round Knob Church of Christ, with Ed Buchanan and Mitchell Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Round Knob Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 1, 2009 from 7 to 9 PM at Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel.
