Reverend Albert Dale Frazier passed away on December 6, 2006 at his home in Woodlawn, VA. Reverend Frazier was 73 years old and was a retired Church of God minister who had pastored for over 30 years. Pastorates included Churches of God in Wards Gap, Pembroke, Shorts Creek and Trigg Street in Abingdon, VA. He was preceded in death by his son Jeffery Dale Frazier and parents Henry & Martha Frazier of Woodlawn.

Reverend Frazier is survived by his wife Mavis Lawson Frazier of the home; son & daughter-in-law, Greg and Becky Frazier of Austinville; daughter & son-in-law Donna & Barry Thomas of Austinville; son Stan Frazier of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter & spouse Keisha & Derrick Spence of Hillsville; grandsons & spouse Joshua & Tina Frazier of Fancy Gap, Justin Frazier of Austinville and Bryce Thomas of Austinville; brothers-in-law & spouse Winford & Mildred Lawson and Larry Lawson all of Austinville; seven sisters Adeen & the late Eldridge Sumner, Dorothy & Arkie Utt, Zona & Johnny Briggs, Grace & Billy Smythers, Fern & Donald Hanks, Edith Frazier, Glenna & Dean Winesett all of Woodlawn; and four brothers RC & Nora Frazier of Woodlawn, Kyle & Katherine Frazier of Austinville, Lloyd & Edna Frazier and Herbert & Jewell Frazier all of Cleveland, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. James Walker, Rev. Howard Riley and Rev. David Hagee from the Virginia State Office of the Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday night at the funeral home.
