Reeford M. Thomas, 86 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mr. Thomas was born in Carroll County to the late William Jesse & Laura Webb Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jackson Thomas, and a son Howard mason Thomas, and several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his daughters and sons-n-law, Brenda & Wayne Coleman, and Cathy & James Frazier, all of Austinville, VA a special nephew, Kenneth Thomas, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with rev Theron Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Allan Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by Grover King Post 1115. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral services. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
