Rebecca (Becky) Carolyn McKinnon Shaw, 69 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Mrs. Shaw was born in Galax, Virginia on March 12, 1957. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin McKinnon.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Shaw of the home; daughter, Emily Shaw of Galax; son, Roger Shaw (Stefany) of Hillsville; grandchildren, Brandon Shaw of Galax, Eli Shaw of Hillsville and Payton Shaw of Hillsville; mother, Imogene McKinnon; siblings, Pansy Farris (Jerry) of Kernersville, David McKinnon of Woodlawn, Randy McKinnon (fiancé, Jackie Largen) of Galax; and Doug McKinnon (Joyce) of Galax; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Shirley Brady.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Sky View Missionary Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Gary Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb-Skyview Cemetery.
