Reba Ann Melton Stone, 87, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022.  Mrs. Stone was born January 30, 1935 to the late Lacy and Floyd (Pat) Melton.  She was married September 7, 1951 to Thomas R. Stone who has preceded her in death.  In addition to her parents and Mr. Stone, she was preceded in death by very special granddaughter Debra Ann Stone Harmon, sister Doris White and brothers John Melton, Alfred Melton and Howard Melton.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Carolyn and Don Dunford; son Thomas R. Stone, Jr.;

Son and daughter-in-law: Pat and Lisa Stone. Grandchildren: grandsons and granddaughters-in-law: Brian and Wendy Dunford; Andy and Cicely Dunford and grandson Christopher Stone.

Great Grandchildren: Jessalyn (Aidan) McSharry, Derek Dunford, Kaden Harmon, and Lane Harmon. Also Surviving is brother James Melton, sisters-in-law Virginia King, Myrtle Peverall; Bertha Marshall and Troy, Juanita Stone, Goldie Stone and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 12, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady.  A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:30 PM in the West End Cemetery, Wytheville, Virginia with Pastor Lee Thomas officiating.
