Raymond Roger Burnette, 72, of Thomasville, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Westwood Health and Rehab.

Born September 21, 1948, in Pulaski, Virginia, he was the son of the late Raymond Burnette and the late Macie Alderman Burnette. Roger was a US Air Force veteran and a retired long-distance truck driver.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Bobbie Everhart Burnette of the home; son, Dana Burnette and wife Dee of SC; daughter, Stephanie Bowman of Thomasville; sister, Kathy Burnette of Pinnacle; grandchildren, Dustin Foley and wife Kristen, and Reagan Burnette.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 24, 2021, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Gary Reeder officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
