Rayburn Glen Ricky Carico, 58 of Fries, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. He was preceded in death by his father Roy Carico; mother Gaynell Carico; twin brother Raymond Lynn Dicky Carico; brother Bud Carico; and sister Ellen Rutherford. Mr. Carico is survived by daughter & son-in-law Tracy & Zak Melton; son Shaun Carico and girlfriend Shelly Wagoner; sister & brother-in-law Mary & Herb Tomlinson; brothers Bobby Carico and Jerry Carico all of Fries; grandchildren Cole Smith, Kaylee Smith, Carson Carico, Blake Carico, and Jacob Wagoner; brother-in-law Olen Rutherford; special pet Biscuit; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Atkins United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Smythers and Rev. Bill Shupe officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday evening beginning at 5:30 PM until service time.
