Ray McCraw, 47 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Mr. McCraw was preceded in death by his father Olan Ray McCraw. He is survived by his wife Cathy Marie McCraw; son Devon Ray McCraw; and stepdaughter Micayla Marie Webb all of the home; children outside the home & their spouses Crystal & Neil Newman of Cana, Daniel & Cindy McCraw of Bristol, VA, Jeremiah McCraw of Fries, Pam McCraw of Wytheville, Ashley McCraw of West Virginia, Lisa McCraw of Wytheville, and Faith Renee McCraw of Fancy Gap; mother Helen McCraw of Fancy Gap; sisters & spouses Denise & Dewayne Brown, Marie McCraw, and Sandra & Darrell Dickenson all of Fancy Gap; and 14 grandchildren. There is also a special mention of dear friends Roger Carter & Family of Meadows of Dan, Dale Pruitt & Family of Laurel Fork, Larry & Margret Davis of Hillsville, and Stephanie & Caitlin Beverly of Hillsville whom also survive.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Tim Hawks officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm prior to the memorial service.
